Our second event, Wreaths 4 Wellness 2019, was a huge success thanks to all of our donors and participants! After the pumpkin crop unfortunately failed, we came up with a fun way to raise money again this year, by creating the winter holiday themed event Wreaths 4 Wellness! We approached local businesses and asked them two things: to donate to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation, and to participate in our Christmas wreath decorating contest. By December, right on time for winter break, we got  a wonderful display of 20 festive wreaths! The patients and staff of the Cancer Centre then cast their vote in the Best Wreath Contest, for which we received a ton of ballots! Keep reading to see the winners!

On top of our Best Wreath Contest, we held a Win-A-Wreath Raffle, where people could purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win and take home a wreath of their choice! Each and every one of the beautiful wreaths got a nice home for the holidays!

This year, because of the sudden change in plans, we did not have a set goal for how much money we wanted to raise; however, we had much greater success than anticipated! With the help of all of our amazing sponsors and participants, we were able to raise $8,200 for the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation!

We hit it out of the park once again in this holiday event and we have no one else to thank but you! We couldn't have had such great success without our amazing sponsors, participants, and everyone at the Cancer Centre. We were able to raise more than just money; we also brought on so many smiles and further proved that the winter holiday is the most wonderful time of the year!
