CARVE 4 CANCER 2021

How it worked:

Local businesses donated $500 to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation in exchange for a giant pumpkin and a chance to compete in the Best Pumpkin Contest.

The participating businesses carved, decorated, or painted their giant pumpkins, and delivered them to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. Pictures were taken of the participating pumpkins, and posted on the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation's Facebook page for voting. Anyone can cast their vote by liking the photo of their favourite pumpkin, and whoever has the most likes wins the Best Pumpkin Contest!

2021 Results:

Thanks to all of our amazing sponsors, participants, and even a little help from family, we successfully raised $9,820 for the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation! This money will be going towards their Seeds 4 Hope cancer research program. Even though we did come up a bit short of our goal of $10,000, we did reach an even bigger goal: over the past 4 years we have now raised a total of exactly $40,000 for the WCCF!!!

Thanks again to everyone who helped make this event what it is, we couldn't have done it without you! It means the world to us to have this much community support to help us bring so many siles to the Cancer Centre every Halloween! See you next year!
