CARVE 4 CANCER 2022

How it worked:

Local businesses donated $500 to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation in exchange for a giant pumpkin and a chance to compete in the Best Pumpkin Contest.

The participating businesses carved, decorated, or painted their giant pumpkins, and delivered them to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. The pumpkins were judged in two different categories: an in-person vote and an online vote. Patients and staff of the Cancer Centre could vote for their favourite using paper ballots for the in-person vote. For the online vote, pictures were taken of the participating pumpkins and posted on the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation's Facebook page. Anyone could cast their vote by liking the photo of their favourite pumpkin, and whoever had the most likes won!

2022 Results:

Thanks to all of our amazing sponsors, participants, and even a little help from family, we successfully raised $10,600 for the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation! This brought our five year fundraising total to a grand $50,600 for the WCCF!!

Thanks again to everyone who helped make this event what it is; we couldn't have done it without you! It means the world to us to have this much community support to help us bring so many smiles to the Cancer Centre every Halloween! See you next year!
